THE THREE TYPES OF DOSES

As you probably know, mushrooms can be used in several different ways based on how much or little you consume. Whether you want to enhance your mental health or have a euphoric experience, psilocybin can get you there. They call them magic mushrooms for a reason! With that being said, it can be intimidating to determine how much to take and how often. The last thing we want is to have you hallucinating at work or not feeling anything when you’re out at a music festival! 

So, let’s talk about doses! We hope that by the end of this newsletter, you can determine which one is best for you and your personal needs.

MICRODOSE (0.25 – 1 GRAM)

A microdose is a very, very small dose of psilocybin. In fact, these doses are so small that no psychedelic effect will occur, meaning you won’t experience any changes in perception, such as visual or auditory hallucinations.

You may, however, experience some changes in your mood, thinking, concentration, and energy levels. Therefore, a microdose cannot and will not affect your day-to-day activities such as work or school.  

HOW TO MICRODOSE WITH FUNGAL FRIEND 

To achieve a proper microdose, we recommend takin Bright or Rise. Each of these products contains 100mg of psilocybe in addition to various other all-natural ingredients. All you really need is one capsule every few days to experience the benefits. 

If you feel the need to, you can take more than one without fear of feeling high! Honestly, it would take at least ten capsules of Rise or Bright to get even close to a “low dose”.

LOW DOSE (1-3 grams)

A low dosage of psilocybin is a dose where you may start to feel some psychedelic effects. Due to everyone’s unique tolerance, no set amount correlates to a low dose. However, a minimum of one gram is required to be considered a moderate/low dosage.

With low doses, you may experience slight body high slight changes in visual perception, such as colours appearing more vibrant. You may feel giddy and a bit euphoric, as well. 

HOW TO LOW DOSE WITH FUNGAL FRIEND

To achieve these effects using our products, you may require up to four Glow capsules or two Shine capsules to begin to feel the effects of a low dose. However, we would not recommend ingesting all the capsules at once until you know what your tolerance level is. Instead, try one capsule, waiting thirty minutes, and if you’re not satisfied with your experience, take another! Continue this system until you’re feeling amazing.

HEROIC DOSE (3+ grams)

When you take a heroic dose of magic mushrooms, you can expect some pretty intense effects, with substantial changes to your thoughts, perception, and mood. You may experience the effects of a low dose with much greater intensity. This includes visual and auditory hallucinations, visions, profound insights, disassociation from your body, and more. HOW TO HEROIC DOSE WITH FUNGAL FRIEND
